so i had the most wonderful thing today

did we really mean so little to each other?
Ok so a real close friend of mine decided to not be friends with me anymore. A friend that i thought i could share anything with, you know the kind, where if any small thing happened you would call this person and tell them about it. But i guess i didnt mean as much to her as she did to me. Let me tell you what happened. My friend Vann and I have been friends since i was in 9th grade, yes thats 1999, when we lived together we had the same cell phone plan, but when things didnt work out and she moved back home, we decided to keep the cell phones on the same plan because we didnt want to pay early termination fees. Fast foward to the present, i get laid off from my previous job and cannot pay my cell phone bill on time. As a resault, Vanns cell phone gets shut off, but mine stays on. She gets mad at me for not paying the bill and asks me to pay, but i cannot seeing as i havent worked in a month and m checking acct is running dry. Vann and I get into some pretty heated arguments, which i can understand why she would be mad, i mean i would of. So against my prideful self, i call my mom and tell her whats going on, she agrees to pay my past due balance of 125.00 as my christmas gift. So today after work i go by sprint and ask them to turn it back on, which they did since i did pay the money i owed. I get home, tell everyone my phone is back on, and take a nap because i have been up since 4:30 for work. i wake up from my nap and a friend of mine IMs me saying that my phone is off again...hmmm so i try to make a call and sure enough..its off again. Me, assuming the worst like always, assume Vann is still pissed at me and shut it off again, but i talk myself out of that idea becaus i thought Vann was more mature than that. But no..even though i paid the money i owed to have my cell phone turned back on, she went out of her way to have it suspended AGAIN, because shes the account holder and can do pretty much whatever she wants. Well, i guess she isnt so mature as i thought she was, I log onto my myspace and whos not on my friends list anymore?? You guessed it..one of my best friends of 7 years. She took me off of her friends list and is not returning my phone calls. So should i feel sad? For some reason i dont. Maybe its because something as material and trivial broke our friendship apart, and me knowing that i would not end a friendship of many years over something material. So that gets me thinking, did i not mean as much as i thought i did to her? I guess not. Oh well, im not gonna sit here and call her names and bash her, her actions pretty much did that for herself. Also that gets me thinking, maybe the things Grace said were true? Maybe the fact that we were friends for so long blinded me from that. oh well, ive started a new job, i have a new lady in my life, i plan on moving out soon, things are changing and going pretty well for me. so whatever, have a nice life Vann, i know i plan on having a kick ass one. good bye!!!!!! So..i may be going to Alaska this summer
OHHH SHIT this is where my "travel the world" dream begins. I just got a call from the gift shop manager up in Denali National Park in Alaska for me to work there this summer. I got the idea from seeing Brett post about it in his journal and he asked me to apply too. So i did, and i had my phone interview which to me went off without a hitch. She told me she needs to call my references and do a background check on me and if everything looks good, im golden. id be working in the Denali Gift shop selling souveneirs to people from all over the world, that right there is awesome to me. she also told me they have alot of international employees so that would be cool to learn about other countries from them. so basically what happens is i work 6 days a week for 8 hours making 8 dollars an hour, now that may not seem like alot, but my housing and food is automatically taken out, meaning everything thats left over just sits in my bank account. so after a few months will accumulate to be alot :P wewt im excited. they also have a game room and employee restaurant. now when i think game room i think arcade machines, she probebly meant pool tables and dart boards, which is still cool to me. so i really hope i get the job, it would be an awesome experience to meet people from all over the world and learn about their country and ways of life. thats it for me, see ya!! in other news i discovered this paul van dyk song that i really like. i heard it on www.di.fm a long time ago and it bugged me that they didnt say who it was by. but then the song is on the american home version of DDR:Supernova so i was like O_O awesome!!! take a look, pretty good song/video.
